CANTTEX: Canadian Tundra and Taiga Experiment

The Canadian Tundra and Taiga Experiment (CANTTEX) is a network of scientists and sites across the Canadian North established to:

1. monitor for long-term changes in northern terrestrial ecosystems; and
2. conduct warming and other environmental manipulations to test hypotheses related to effects of environmental variability and change on these ecosystems.

CANTTEX is linked to the International Tundra Experiment (ITEX), a similar network with sites throughout the tundra biome.
