Accommodation

We are asking conference delegates to complete their own arrangements directly with the accommodation providers. Rooms are currently being held at several Whitehorse locations.

On-site

Yukon College: The College has "residence style" rooms available. These are the most economic rooms located right at the conference site at $35 + GST but space is limited so book early. The city is about an hour walk from the College. Hotels

Rooms are being held at three downtown hotels. A shuttle service to and from the conference will be provided between these locations to the conference in the mornings and afternoons. When considering your arrangements please note that there is no Territorial Sales Tax in the Yukon and no "Bed" Tax.

Bed & Breakfasts

This can be an attractive option but may require independent transportation. The Yukon Bed and Breakfast Association has its own web site at http://www.yukonbandb.com/. Hotels

Robert Service Campground is conveniently located within a 15 minute walk from downtown Whitehorse (longer to Yukon College). It is situated in a lovely forested spot along the Yukon River. There are over 70 treed tent sites available for $12.00/night. Hot showers, free wood and clean facilities will make your stay a comfortable one. Transportation

A shuttle service to and from the conference will be provided between downtown hotels to the conference in the mornings and afternoons. Consider the following as alternatives for during or outside the conference.

Bicycle

Car Rental

Whitehorse has a range of major car rental dealerships. All companies offer 100 km/ day included with rental and 15 cents/km after that. You may wish to consider the following:
