Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation in partnership with Indian and Northern Affairs Canada and Yukon Housing Corporation invite your attendance at the Northern Sustainability Symposium on June 17-18, 2008, at the Downtown Hotel, Dawson City, Yukon.

The symposium will be an opportunity to learn about the latest research and innovative approaches in the housing industry. A wide range of speakers, who are leaders in the development of sustainable communities and energy efficient construction practices will make presentations and be available to answer questions. The symposium will also highlight the newly constructed Tr’ondek Hwech’in First Nation Sustainable Demonstration Home.

2 The National Roundtable on the Environment and the Economy (NRTEE) has released its latest advisory report 'Developing Ambient Air Quality Objectives for Canada'. This advisory report to the Minister of the Environment represents the second and final portion of advice pertaining to the development of long-term climate change and clean air strategies for Canada.  It offers advice on the process of setting national ambient air quality objectives for Canada. .

6 Climate Change Could Impact Vital Functions Of Microbes
