C-CIARN North Online Workshops
Workshop #1:
Climate Change and Infrastructure
8-9 January 2003
The focus of C-CIARN North's first online workshop was the impact of climate change on northern infrastructure, potential adaptations, costs, and responsibilities. Sixty-seven people registered for the workshop, including participants from all three Canadian territories and seven Canadian provinces, as well as Europe and the United States.
Workshop Co-chairs:
Karen Bergman, policy analyst with Transport Canada, and Karen Henry, engineer and project manager with the Government of the Northwest Territories.
Proceedings
A summary report of the workshop appeared in the Spring 2003 issue of Weathering Change, the newsletter of the Northern Climate ExChange.
