National Assessment: Northern Chapter
Through March 31, 2007, C-CIARN-North participated in the Canadian Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation Assessment. This nationwide effort, coordinated by Natural Resources Canada, examined our state of knowledge about Canada's vulnerability to climate change, in order to identify any gaps in knowledge that need to be addressed.

2006 Yellowknife Workshop
A workshop took place on March 8, 2006, in Yellowknife, NWT, to address the issue of climate change in the context of impacts on municipal services, including water, power, and roads. In addition, adaptation strategies that northern municipalities could implement were considered in order to adapt to future climatic changes. A summary of this workshop is available for download.
