Definitions

Single Bird: One bird apparently isolated from any others of its species. Record all single birds seen, including females.

Isolated Pair: 1 male and 1 female together, not in close association with any other birds of the same species. Record number of pairs, NOT number of birds.

Grouped Birds: Any closely associated individuals of the same species EXCEPT an isolated pair (see above). Includes 2 males together or 2 females together. Record number of males and females in each group. One group per line only.

***Record enough details of how and from where to count each wetland that another person could census the wetland next time. Photographs taken from the counting place or showing the counting place would be particularly useful.******
